-Matt Garza pitched a no-hitter
–It’s the first in Tampa Bay Rays history.
—There were actually dueling no-hitters till the sixth inning.
—-The Rays have now been at both the giving and receiving end of a no-hitter this season.
—–The Rays broke up the no-hitter being pitched by Max Scherzer of the Tigers with a grand slam
——-The Rays played the Tigers. The Tigers have now had two no hitters broken up this season by dudes named Joyce.

-The Minnesota Twins scored 19 runs today.
–They played the Royals.
—-Zack Greinke started.
—–Mauer had seven RBI. Okay maybe that is semi predictable.

-Chris Coghlan injured himself pieing someone.

-Dan Haren made his first start to the Angels after being traded.
–He left in the fifth inning after being hit.
