LeBron-Free Daily Roundup 07/08/10

Abbreviated schedule tonight

–Matt Latos hit a home run. He, uh, also pitched well. Like everyone else in a Padres’ uniform.

–John Danks threw a two hitter; Roy Oswalt a one hitter, and both were afternoon games.

—The White Sox game was completed in under two hours and was the second fastest game of the season–Galarraga’s Imperfect Game was the fastest.

–This is a couple days old, but worth it. Watch where the ball lands:

–The Jays are hitting home runs again. They had five tonight. Including one off the bat of Jose Molina.

–Jason Giambi went 4-4, the first time he had four hits in a game since 2003. (with thanks to @mikeaxisa)

–Via @stophamm3rtime, the Pirates haven’t hit a more than two run home run since June 8th.
