–At one point, the Yankees struck out six times in a row.
—The Jays scored seven runs on the Yankees and not one of them was a Jose Bautista home run.

–CJ Wilson gave up six runs in five innings to the Mariners.
—Seven of the nine Mariners’ hitters got a base hit tonight; Ichiro wasn’t one of them.

–The Padres 1 game back in NL West, and a half game back in Wild Card. They are 11-14 this month and have scored 3 or fewer runs in 15 of 25 games. Via @followthepadres

–Kyle Davies’ pitching line: 3.1 IP, 8 H, 7 R, 7 ER, 3 BB, 1K
—-The Royals still won the game.

–Albert Pujols got thrown out at third base.
